From the moment we knew we were gifted a weekend, we felt special and taken care of by the texts and phone calls we received about our arrival…

First, your slogan 'it's all in the greeting' is so very fitting. I have never been as overwhelmed and touched as I was that morning.

Where to even begin. The amount of love and support we felt walking in to the greeting, left me speechless and in tears.

I just wanted to thank you, Hope for Heroes, and all the volunteers for an absolute heart warming memory my wife and I will never forget. You've definitely nailed it with "It's all in the greeting!"

I wanted to thank you for the opportunity this weekend to be part of Hope for Heroes. It was Courtney and I’s first weekend to get away in 6 months since the birth of our son.

To walk into the lobby of the beautiful hotel and be greeted by all these smiling and cheering strangers is a moment I will never forget in my life. Not only was it a beautiful moment for myself and my wife Marisa but also for our three little ones.

Hope For Heroes is amazing and really helped me through a rough patch in my life. They brought me and my wife to a little getaway that meant the world to my wife and me.

We’re back in the swing of normal life and I just wanted to take a minute to attempt to put into words how wonderful this past weekend was.

First off, I have been in public service all my life. I am retired Air Force and a 15 year veteran with SAPD. I absolutely don't do any of this with a goal of getting recognition or awards.

First and foremost my family and I would like to extend our sincerest gratitude to everyone involved with Hope for Heroes for the warm reception and unforgettable weekend experience we were blessed to receive!

As we entered the lobby, I was puzzled by all the people standing around. I thought, perhaps, there was a convention or something of that nature.
